If you still run into this problem, then I'm sorry.
#Skyrim dual sheath redux patch missing masters mod
You need both "Dual Sheath Redux.esp" and "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp" activated in your load order in order for the mod to work, not just one or the other You'll know that it's activated when you see a little checkmark beside it. It can't just be in your load order either, it has to be activated either through the Skyrim Launcher (look under "Data Files") or your mod manager. A simple fix for a problem I had, might help you too. This esp is required for the patcher to run. However, according to your patcher saying that "the esp is not in the load order", the patcher believes that the "Dual Sheath Redux.esp" file is not turned on in your mod list. Normally, the patcher would go about its business, scanning your mods and creating the "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp" file. Inside that folder will be another folder and in this second folder there is a program called "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar" If you have java installed on your computer, you can double click this file and a window will pop up where you can begin the patching process. HOWEVER, Dual Sheath Redux also comes with a folder called "Skyproc Patchers". Locate the SkyProc Patchers directory and expand the Dual Sheath Redux Patch directory. Add the DSR Patch to the list of executables by doing the following: In the right pane, go to the Data tab.

When you install Dual Sheath Redux, the mod comes with the typical meshes, scripts, and interface folders that other mods can come with as well as the "Dual Sheath Redux.esp" file. Dual Sheath Redux Patch must be launched through Mod Organizer for it to recognize installed mods. Firstly, you must install Dual Sheath Redux either manually (personally do NOT recommend this) or with a mod manager (I'd normally recommend Mod Organizer but seeing as you're having trouble I would stick with Nexus Mod Manager for now). If you use my Sacrosanct compatibility patch it requires both my mod and the Sacrosanct mod to be installed, so you'll have to remove it too when trying to make a clean save without my mod.Aight, here's what you need to do. If you use my Royal Bloodline compatibility patch it requires both my mod and the Royal Bloodline mod to be installed, so you'll have to remove it too when trying to make a clean save without my mod. The mod doesnt modify any vanilla assets so it shouldnt matter where it is in the load order. If you use the Race Compatibility mod, there is a very specific order to installation, and if you try to start your game with part of his mod requiring my mod, your game will crash. Dual Sheath Redux Patch REQUIREMENTS Skyrim 1.9.32.0.8 or later Dawnguard DLC INSTALLATION Install with NMM or unzip the enclosed files to your data folder and make sure the mod is checked.

I recommend using Wrye Bash to check if any mods are using mine as a master (they depend on it) - this will cause your game to crash if you delete mine to make a clean save. You will also need to create a new patch without my mod if/when you need to make a clean save when updating my mod.
#Skyrim dual sheath redux patch missing masters update
If you have a bashed patch or use the reproccer etc., make certain you update it and create a new patch or your game might crash. You have to create a new patch to avoid having it crash your game. I offer another version of my mod that does not require Dawnguard.Īlso, some users have had issues with ASIS, Reproccer, Dual Sheath Redux, and other mods which require bashed patches, when they try to install or unistall my mod. If you have installed the Dawnguard version of my mod and you don't have it installed or enabled this will crash the game. My mod requires the latest version of Skyrim. Skyrim will crash at startup if a mod is missing a required master.
